However in business, to get noticed for the hard work you're putting in, you have to brown nose a little. Don't be quick to give your boss(es) too much credit with noticing hard work - most are too focused on the next meeting, the next deadline, etc., and fail to see the value of their staff (that's everywhere!). It should be pointed out in this article, that ass-kissing only gets you so far - you have to back that up with real talent and skill if you want to continue forward. Good luck to all of you!
